Now is the time to discover the Amazon. What an amazing destination that borders eight countries, is the world's largest river basin and the source of one-fifth of all free-flowing fresh water on Earth. It's rain forests are the planet's largest and most luxuriant. A journey to the Amazon will provide you with some emotions that you have probably never felt and may never feel again.......imagine sitting in a canoe in the dark of night in the middle of the Amazon! If I could have recorded those sounds I would listen to it daily. More than 350 indigenous and ethnic groups have lived in the Amazon for thousands of years and to this day, they are still discovering unknown tribes.
