Travel Checklist for a worry free vacation
BEFORE YOU GO .....
- Check the enclosed documents to ensure all the details are correct – including names, dates and destination. Names should be listed as they appear on your passport or birth certificate and government issued photo ID.
- Ensure you have the required documentation, such as valid passport, tourist card, VISAWor
- Please note that a notarized letter of permission may be required when only one parent or an adult other than the parents are traveling with children.
- Airline seating is on a first come first served basis. Pre-assigned seating is available with most airlines for a minimum fee.
- Some countries require a departure tax to be paid locally
PACKING
- Ensure you have a luggage tag, complete with your name and phone number.
- Baggage allowance varies based on the airline. Please confirm with your airline as allowances may vary.
- Carry on is limited to one piece per person and must not exceed 9"x16"x20" in size. Please check with the airline about items that are not allowed in your carry-on.
- It is a good idea to pack your carry-on bag with items that you will immediately need upon arrival.
- Liquids in your carry-on are limited to containers no larger than 100ml or 3.4 ounces. They must be packed in a 1L clear, resalable plastic bag. One bag is allowed per passenger. This applies to all liquids, gels and aerosols, including bottled water and duty-free good.
- All prescription medication is to be in original container with original prescription label and carried in the carry on.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE AIRPORT
- Check your departure time with the airline.
- Please arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure. Many airlines have a cut off time where further boarding is not permitted.
- There are no refunds for missed flights.
